Pekkish

Refunds and cancellations

Last updated: 7 September 2026.

The short version: your order is with the shop, not with Pekkish. The shop makes your food, takes your money and decides on refunds. Pekkish provides the ordering page and passes your order on.

1. Cancelling an order

Once you have placed an order, only the shop can cancel it, because it may already be making your food. Contact the shop directly, as early as you can, using the details on its storefront. Food is perishable and made for a specific time, so the 14-day cancellation right that applies to most online purchases does not apply here (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28); the shop will use its judgement.

2. How a refund reaches you

  • Paid by card online: the shop refunds through Pekkish and the money goes back to the card you paid with. Banks usually show it within five working days.
  • Paying on collection: nothing has been taken, so there is nothing to refund. If you had already paid the shop in person, settle it with them.
  • Referral or nomination credit you had used on a cancelled order is put back on your account for that shop.

3. Something wrong with what you received

Tell the shop straight away, with your order reference. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to food that is as described and of satisfactory quality, and that right is against the shop. If the shop does not put it right, email [email protected] with the reference and we will help.

4. Allergies

If you have an allergy or intolerance, tell the shop directly before you order, every time. The allergen information on a storefront is the shop's, and recipes change.
